In the past, sand and gravel yards were mostly located along rivers, where raw materials such as gravel and gravel were screened, processed, and made into materials needed for concrete, which were used in construction projects and infrastructure. Reusing wastewater not only reduces harm to the environment, but also saves water. Later, due to the government's ban, the sand and gravel industry moved inland one after another. In addition to creating water circulation, Yu Chen Group also turns remaining waste materials into green concrete. In 2014, Lan Longkuan and CEO Lai Congming incorporated Xinglei Resource Recycling into their subsidiary through a shareholding change, which is responsible for processing the remaining earth and stone from construction (earth and stone stacking, classification, recycling, etc.), which is equivalent to the group's one-stop service from upstream sand and gravel manufacturing to downstream processing. All earth and stone work can be taken care of. However, the last remaining waste materials from earthworks, such as bricks, soil blocks, etc., were previously asked to be removed and transported by industry operators, which made Lai Chongming, CEO of Yu Chen Group, think about the possibility of reusing waste materials.
In 2016, Lai Congming and Lan Longkuan founded Yu Chen Industrial to challenge using waste materials to make concrete. They first tried using the materials themselves and laid them on the factory road, and found that the effect was good. Then they collaborated with experts from National Cheng Kung University and the Taiwan Construction Research Institute to conduct tests to prove that the new concrete "Recycled Porous Aggregate" has the same compressive strength as ordinary concrete. The same, and the raw materials used can reduce the consumption of natural sand and gravel by 50%.
Yu Chen Group established the Bade Comprehensive Earth and Rock Treatment Park. In addition to sand and gravel manufacturing, it can also produce concrete. This is a ready-mixed concrete mixing equipment.

It was not until 2020 that Liu Zhenjia, chairman of Lian Mao Construction, agreed with Yu Chen's concept and allowed the first case of Recycled Porous Aggregate concrete be used in the Lian Mao Sanchong Urban Renewal Project. And inviting construction colleagues to visit, the industry gradually accepted Recycled Porous Aggregate concrete. "Recycled Porous Aggregate Concrete" will be officially shipped in 2023, with an average monthly sales volume of 5,000 to 6,000 cubic meters. In 2024, shipment volume will double to 10,000 cubic meters per month, driving the group's revenue to grow by 35%. Hit a new high.
Gathering subsidiaries to build an economic cycle park reduces freight costs by more than 50%
After developing green concrete, Yu Chen Group has prepared the capabilities of earthwork processing, gravel processing, and concrete manufacturing. In order to achieve synergy, Yu Chen Group will establish the Bade Earth and Rock Comprehensive Treatment Park in 2021 to integrate its related enterprises, including transportation. Youxing Transportation, which recycles resources, Changwei Industry, which crushes and processes sand and gravel, and Yu Chen Industrial, which produces green concrete, will subsequently establish Youxing Transportation, Youhe Industrial, which produces ready-mixed concrete, and Youwang Enterprise, which develops circular economy, etc. The factories of these subsidiaries are all located in the park. They can handle everything from building dismantling, waste material classification and processing, to making green concrete, forming a circular economy.
In this way, transportation costs and time can be reduced, and production problems can be corrected faster. Take a concrete plant as an example. Generally, concrete plants have to buy raw materials of sand and gravel from multiple manufacturers and transport them to the factory. However, for Yu Chen Industrial, the sand and gravel are directly manufactured from Changwei Industry, Youyi Industry and other sites. Sent from the factory, just looking at the coarse aggregate materials used in concrete, the freight cost is reduced by 70 to 85%, and the transportation time is reduced by more than one hour.
Not only that, Yu Chen Group also has Hongmin Construction, which carries out construction and demolition of building projects.
